Information on the 'corporate uniform' of the UKFSSART. Report from DO Eric Robson of the Corporate Working Party.

An arrangement has been made by the Essex SART for the purchasing of clothing items stitched with the UK Fire Services Search & Rescue Team Logo if other Brigades require them. It is hoped that by purchasing on bulk the corporate image will become common throughout the individual teams involved. The materials are of good quality, the design is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

The prices are as follows:

Post and packaging will be added as appropriate.

Goods will be despatched upon receipt of payment cheques.

The Working Party considered all types of safety helmet and have recommended the Gallet F2 as the most appropriate for UKFSSART. The colour selected is a steel blue, that together with the new orange overalls, reflects the international standard for civil defence that a number of international teams have adopted. The helmet is supplied with integral safety goggles and can be equipped with a torch in a fixed holster clipped to one side.
