INDIAN OCEAN TSUNAMI - INDONESIA

The city of Banda Aceh, Indonesia suffered catastrophic damage as a result of the tsunami that struck on 26 December 2004.

QuickBird imagery of 28
December 2004 clearly revealed the extent of flooding, and widespread devastation to the city and surrounding areas.
